KESM Industries Berhad “KESM” commenced its burn-in business in 1978 in Kepong, Selangor Darul Ehsan. Initially under the name of KESM Systems & Service Sdn. Bhd. Due to rapid business growth, it relocated from Kepong to Sungei Way Free Industrial Zone in Petaling Jaya, where the operations remain today. In 1983, the founders of KESM expanded its business in Malaysia by incorporating KESP Sdn. Bhd. “KESP” to undertake the “burn-in” business in Bayan Lepas Free Trade Zone, Pulau Pinang.
KESM Industries Berhad was officially listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad since 1994. In 1995, KESM extended its burn-in business to include testing services. In 2007, KESM established a factory, KESM Industries (Tianjin) Co., Ltd, in the province of Tianjin, China, to provide semiconductor burn-in and test services.
KESM Industries Berhad is the largest independent burn-in and test services provider in Malaysia, serving the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers. KESM Group also provides electronic manufacturing services primarily to original equipment manufacturers “OEM”, original design manufacturers “ODM” in the computing, industrial, communications and consumer markets.
